A Day in the Life of Christina

Every Thursday of my life, I get up at about 6:35 a.m.  I take a shower, get dressed, brush my teeth and hair, and eat breakfast to get ready for school.  My school is P.S. 9.  It is on Columbus and 84th.  I have to get up early so I can catch my school bus.  New York sometimes has traffic in the streets so I’m late for school even if I get the bus.

At school, I learn math, science, Spanish, computers, art, and many other things.  That’s how N.Y. schools are.  My friend’s mom in the other class picks me up.  She takes me to piano lessons at her house.  Her home is on Broadway so it’s just a few blocks away.  So we can usually walk there.  Her home is a skyscraper, a tall apartment building.  My friend has 3 cats.  There are a lot of cats in N.Y.  Well, sort of.  Anyway, my friend lives on the 7th floor of her home. I have a piano teacher.  My little brother has to take piano lessons, too.  We all take turns with the piano but all have the same teacher.  While we’re waiting, we play my friend’s computer.  Usually on Wednesday I need to practice piano.  I have a lot of piano books to practice.  When I get home from piano, I wait for my babysitter to make me dinner.  After dinner, I wait for my mom to come home from her class.  I watch TV for a while and when she gets home, I do my leftover homework.  Then I watch, “Rugrats” on Nick.  Then I read a book, mark my page where I stopped reading, then go to bed.
